VTV's coastal Kandla Plant secured a prestigious order from M/s. Engineers India Limited, New Delhi for design, supply, fabrication, assembly, welding, testing, PWHT, painting and delivery of 5 Nos. Columns and 6 Nos. Pressure Vessels for the PFCC Unit at MRPL's Phase III Refinery Project.

Some of these vessels / columns are covered by NACE and HIC requirements. An important aspect of this order is the dimension and weight of the C3 Stripper and C3 Rectifier columns, which are dimensioned at 7.00 M I.D x 70.80 M longx 66 mm thk weighing 1150 MT and 7.00 M I.D x 67.00 M long x 64 mm thk weighing 1050 MT respectively. This order also includes the Main Fractionator Column of 8 M diameter x 48.75 M long with partial clad steel construction.
